For ordering through the configurator, start by uploading your model using the 'UPLOAD MODEL' button below, and then select the properties on the right. Loading and processing time depends on the size of the 3D model. The size limit is 250 x 210 x 210mm.

Material

We use high-quality material produced in Slovenia:

PLA-Biodegradable, suitable for indoor objects with no mechanical requirements, not suitable for high temperatures. Low cost.

PETG-Suitable for indoor use, similar to ABS, with excellent wear resistance and toughness, making it suitable for technical products. Medium cost, the most common customer choice.

ASA-Mechanical properties like ABS or PETG, plus UV resistance. It is suitable for products exposed to the sun for extended periods. Higher cost.

Resolution

FDM printing operates by layering plastic, one layer at a time. The thicker the individual layer, the faster the part is produced, resulting in a lower cost. However, the drawback of thicker layers is a rougher surface. For technical products, a layer thickness of 0.4mm is recommended because it allows for greater heat input and better adhesion between layers. Typically, customers choose Standard printing, as it offers the best balance between cost and the visibility of individual layers.

Infill

3D printed components are rarely printed with 100% infill; they are typically hollow on the inside. A common choice is to use 20% infill. The infill percentage affects the strength of the product but also influences the final cost, as denser prints take longer to produce and consume more material.

What is FDM 3D printing

FDM 3D tisk deluje na način topljenja materiala v obliki nitke, ki ga nanaša na površino. Uporablja se lahko različne materiale kot so ABS, PLA, PETG, ASA…

Why choose FDM 3D printing?

The tolerance for products in FDM technology is +/-0.5% of individual dimensions (minimum +/-0.5mm). Additionally, the technology itself has limitations on material deposition through the nozzle. Therefore, I recommend ordering a single test piece initially, which you can test (for load and functionality) and, if necessary, make adjustments for future orders.

Before 3D printing, a 3D printing expert reviews the models. If printing is not possible, we collaborate with you to adjust the model (if the application allows) or provide a full refund.

The offer is generated automatically, so in certain cases, printing may not be possible based on software predictions. In the unlikely event of this situation, we will inform you, and you have the option to make an additional payment or cancel the contract and receive a full refund.
